Corporate Communications
The goal was to change how ExxonMobil's leadership, and the company behind it, came across.
The challenge
ExxonMobil's leadership imagery felt formal and corporate. The new portraits needed to show leadership as more transparent and human, and work across everything from annual reports to wider corporate communications.
ExxonMobil's leadership imagery felt formal and corporate. The new portraits needed to show leadership as more transparent and human, and work across everything from annual reports to wider corporate communications.
The creative approach
We focused on unguarded expressions and the candid moments between formal poses. A cooler color palette set the work apart from typical energy-sector imagery while keeping skin tones natural and settings real.
The outcome
The portrait system made ExxonMobil's leadership feel more approachable and consistent across its main channels, and it supported the wider brand refresh.
