Energy innovation happens at a scale that can be difficult to grasp. These films were designed to close the distance between global operations and the people whose lives they affect.

The creative platform
Moving beyond traditional corporate formats, the films combine original production footage, archival assets, curated imagery, typography, and layered editorial storytelling. The shared visual language gives complex business and energy narratives a more cinematic, emotional, and human dimension.
Powering Human Progress
The “Why” film
Rather than beginning with operations, the film begins with impact: cities that stay lit, hospitals that keep running, and breakthroughs that move society forward. The story connects ExxonMobil’s work to the larger human purpose of energy.
Delivering Energy at Scale
The “What” film
This film pulls back the curtain on how ExxonMobil explores, produces, and advances the energy and materials that support modern economies. Cinematic visuals make the scale, technology, and expertise of global operations more tangible.
Progress You Can Feel:
Shareholder closing film
Created to close the annual shareholder meeting, the film uses a dynamic split-screen system to place ExxonMobil’s work alongside its real-world impact. The structure turns corporate progress into something audiences can see and feel—action on one side, consequence on the other.
The outcome
Together, the films created a durable storytelling platform that could flex across investor communications, executive briefings, conferences, and internal events while maintaining clarity, emotion, and visual impact.
