Yogi Berra was more than a Hall of Fame player. The centennial identity needed to celebrate his wit, warmth, career, and enduring values without turning him into a caricature.
The challenge
The Museum needed a visual identity for what would have been Yogi’s 100th birthday. The work had to honor a remarkable baseball career and larger-than-life personality while staying grounded in the Museum’s mission: respect, perseverance, sportsmanship, and excellence.

The creative approach
The system combined timeless baseball language and centennial motifs with modern typography, heritage-inspired details, and a considered color palette. The tone balanced celebration with dignity—spirited enough to feel like Yogi, but disciplined enough to support the Museum’s educational mission.

The outcome
The identity created a cohesive presence across outdoor, social, print, and museum touchpoints. It gave the centennial storytelling a flexible visual foundation that felt respectful, memorable, and unmistakably connected to Yogi’s spirit.
